A Menu is a list of options or commands from which the computer user can choose.  Menus make programs easier for the user to learn and use as they do not have to memorize the commands in order to use the computer program. 

The most common menu is called the Main Menu.  This menu is a horizontal list of items shown at the top of the screen (immediatley under the program title bar) and allows the user to navigate.  Shown below is a example of a Main Menu.

Another common menu is the Right Click Menu which can be displayed by right clicking on appropriate parts of the program form.  Shown below is a example of a right click menu.
