Single Workstation or Laptop

This is the simplist installation option - all the zMaxOneClick™ components are located on a single computer (as shown below).  However, this is not the most common installation because it limits access to zMaxOneClick™ one computer/user.

Peer-To-Peer Network

The zMaxOneClick™ Database can be located on any one (and only one) of the Peer computers. The zMaxOneClick™ program may be installed on one or more of the peer computers that has access and user rights to the zMaxOneClick™ Database folder and a zMaxOneClick™ user license.

Due to the instability of the Peer-to-Peer network, the access to the zMaxOneClick™ database is not as dependable as a Server controlled Local Area Network, so this is not the preferred installation. In addition, when you have a network with three or more users, a dedicated file server increases speed and performance. For "mission critical" systems - like zMaxOneClick™ - even a small increase in speed adds up to a significant reduction in overhead cost over time.

Client/Server Network

In a Client/Server Network environment, the zMaxOneClick™ Database is installed on the File Server. The zMaxOneClick™ application may be installed on one or more of the workstations that have access and user rights to the zMaxOneClick™ Database folder on the Server and an available concurrent license.
