Command Button

You are hereGlossary and Definitions > Controls and User Interface elements > Command Button

A Command Button looks like a small button.  It is clicked to trigger the program to perform the action described on the button. The Command Button may have a line around it and appear as a button all the time or it may only look like a button only when the mouse pointer "hovers" over it.

It is the most common control as it is the "Windows" standard for these controls to used in the top right corner of almost every window.
