A Sort rearranges the rows in a grid by putting them in ascending order or descending order (or sequence) based on the column that is sorted. 

• Text Ascending - Items with text starting with the first letters of the alphabet will come before the items that begin with the last letters of the alphabet. 
• Text Descending - Items with text starting with the last letters of the alphabet will come before the items that begin with the first letters of the alphabet. 
• Numeric Ascending - Rows with numbers starting with smaller number will come before the items that begin with a larger number.
• Numeric Descending- Rows with numbers starting with larger number will come before the items that begin with a smaller number.
• Date Ascending - Items starting with a earlier date will come before the items that begin with a later date.
• Date Descending- Items starting with a later date will come before the items that begin with a earlier date.
