Whenever you encounter a problem, gather as much information as you can about the problem. This is necessary so that you can completely communicate with the Zoom Technical Support about the details of the problem.
Some of the information you might gather could include (but is not limited) to answering the following questions:
- Error Message - Does zMaxOneClick™ provide you with a error screen? All Zoom products have a built-in automated error handling system. This system is designed to catch any errors that occur and offer to submit it to Zoom via the internet. If the error handling system has captured the error, the Issues form will appear. Occasionally a error may slip through the system. If this happens, please write down exactly what the error message says or screenshot the message screen.
- Operating System - What Windows operating system are you running? Different versions have different issues - like security setting, etc. - so this information is an important piece of the puzzle.
- zMaxOneClick™ version - What version of the zMaxOneClick™ application are you running? This information is shown in the title bar.
- Information or Warning Message - Does zMaxOneClick™ provide you with a information or warning message? If so, what is the message? Make sure that you take a screenshot of the message or write down exactly what the message says.
- Occurrences - Is this the first time the message or problem has occurred? When does the message or problem occur? Does it occur all the time or just some of the time?
- Reproducible - Is the message or problem reproducible? Can you perform the same steps that lead to the message or problem and it happens again. If so, write down exactly what steps reproduce it.
- Other users - Does the same message or issue occur to other users at your company who also use zMaxOneClick™ or just on your computer?
- Changes - Has anything changed on your computer? Have you installed other software, hardware or downloaded a Microsoft Windows update?
