A Data-centric Application like zMaxOneClick™ is a application which uses a relational database management system or file-based data structures to store data and for dynamic, table-driven logic. This is in contrast to 'hard coded' applications where the logic is containe in the underlying compiled programming.

The advantage of data-centric logic means that the user can dynamically change the behavior of the application by changing certain configuration elements which are stored in the application database. This allows data-centric application to be more configurable and flexible.
