A Bug is the common term for an error, defect or flaw in the design or execution in a computer program. All computer applications have bugs due to the complexity of computer operating systems, componded effects of numersous computer programs operating on the same computer. Computer software is tested, so most errors are just minor irritation or annoyance - hense the name bug - rather than fatal flaws which prevents the sucessful operation of the program.
