This section covers the basics of zMaxOneClick™ database maintenance.
A data-centric application like zMaxOneClick™ require maintenance of the underlying database. This includes performing routine scheduled maintenance which keep the database in working order and preventive maintenance to keep trouble from arising. In the broadest terms, zMaxOneClick™ database maintenance includes all actions which have the objective of retaining or restoring the database in or to a state in which it can perform its required function. The actions include the combination of all technical and corresponding administrative, managerial, and supervision actions.
